FallsPredict is a European research & development initiative that aims to conceive, develop and provide a novel technological approach and platform that supports the prediction of when or where people are likely to fall, For this purpose, FallsPredict will apply a series of highly innovative concepts and non-intrusive technological means, including AI, that go well beyond the current state-of-the-art. This advanced prediction will be provided to health care professionals, caregivers and end users alike.
FallsPredict is promoted by a consortium of 14 universities, research institutes, companies and user organizations, from 7 European countries.
Currently, the consortium is compiling a proposal for the European R&D Framework Programme H2020, specifically to the Call for Proposals “Personalised early risk prediction, prevention and intervention based on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data technologies” that will end on June 18.
